Delivery Information

 

We kindly ask you to inspect your order immediately upon delivery to ensure you are happy with the goods. Please report any missing or damaged items to us within 48 hours so we can assist promptly.


UK Deliveries

We are pleased to offer delivery services across the UK with the following charges:

  • England, Wales & Scotland (excluding Highlands & Islands) - Up To 1m Length:
    £8.00 for orders under £100. Free delivery for orders over £100.

  • England, Wales & Scotland (excluding Highlands & Islands) - Long Items (1m - 2m Lengths):
    £15.00 for orders under £100. Free delivery for orders over £100.

  • Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands & Scottish Offshore  - Up To 1m Length:
    £15.00 flat rate for all orders.

  • Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands & Scottish Offshore  - Long Items (1m - 2m Lengths):
    £25.00 flat rate for all orders.

  • Northern Ireland - Up To 1m Length:
    £20.00 flat rate for all orders.

  • Northern Ireland - Long Items (1m - 2m Lengths):
    £28.00 flat rate for all orders.

Delivery typically takes 3-7 working days. Please note that delivery times may vary during peak periods or due to unforeseen circumstances.


Faster Delivery or Specific Day Options

Delivery Outside the UK

For international deliveries, shipping costs will be calculated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our customer service team at sales@collinsai.uk or call us on 020 7096 8060 for a bespoke quote.

  • Customs duties or import taxes may apply to international orders and are the recipient’s responsibility.

  • We will provide detailed shipping costs and estimated timelines based on your location and order details.


Dispatch and Tracking Information

  • Orders placed after 1 PM on a working day, or during weekends and public holidays, will be processed the next working day.

  • Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email and SMS with tracking details from our courier (APC / Rush Europe). You can use these details to track your parcel on the courier’s website.

  • All orders are securely packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.


Missed Delivery Instructions

If no one is available to accept the delivery, the courier will leave a card with instructions on how to rearrange it. The parcel will be held at the local depot for three days. If no response is received within this time, the courier will begin arrangements to return the parcel to us.

Please note that any additional delivery attempts will incur extra charges, which will be the customer’s responsibility.


Safe Place Deliveries

If the courier offers a safe place delivery option and you select it, you assume full responsibility for the parcel. Collins Architectural Ironmongery Ltd will not be liable for loss, damage, or theft of items left in a safe place. Please ensure the chosen location is secure and appropriate for delivery.


Custom-made, Bespoke, or Personalized Items

Custom-made, bespoke, or personalized items are crafted specifically to your requirements and may require additional production time. Delivery timelines for these items will be provided at the time of your order.

Out of Stock and Back Orders

If an item is unavailable, we will place it on back order and inform you of the expected restock date. During this time, you can:

  1. Select an alternative item that is currently in stock.

  2. Have the in-stock items shipped immediately, with out-of-stock items sent separately via next working day delivery when available.

  3. Cancel your entire order.
